One of Airport Excellence's main customers, TMT The Mobile Terminal, has finished the production of its first mobile terminal at the end of December 2010. The terminal officially went into operation on January 20 this year at Geneva International Airport in Switzerland. The first passengers have already used the novel terminal facility sucessfully.
TMT The Mobile Terminal is an Austria-based aviation company that develops and produces novel mobile terminal
solutions for airports and airlines that are reusable and quick and easy to install. They
facilitate the bridging of temporary capacity shortages, the provision of
additional capacity and the activation of new destinations. The basic version
comprises TMT|Departure and TMT|Arrival, two reusable modules that contain all
the necessary equipment and facilities to handle a flight
of a medium-sized aircraft (Boeing 737, Airbus 320) in a low cost-configuration (about 180 passengers) within two hours.
Airport Excellence has developped the business plan for TMT and supports the company in providing the business development and the financial and commercial planning.
